Asic miners have a very high calculation speed, energy consumption is low. This equipment is expensive. However, the costs are usually recouped in 4-5 months.

The application of the miner is accompanied by an instruction manual from the manufacturer. When turning on the Antminer for the first time, you can follow these recommendations:

• Asic is connected to the computer via the original USB. It can also be connected to a power outlet.
• Turn on the monitor when the processor from the miner is connected to the computer.
• Open a program to work with the hardware through the computer. Select the “Update” option so that the system downloads the latest version of updates. When the process is complete, the device is rebooted.

Then configure the server. On the official Bitmain website in the “Support” section, download IP Reporter.zip. The application is unpacked and run as administrator. They select the operation options:

• Position, Step, Shelf are suitable for industrial-level mining on several devices.
• Default is used at home.

On the controller board press the “IP report” button and hold it until the beep for about 5 seconds. Ip-address will be displayed in the window on the computer screen. It is entered in the browser. Then go to the control panel by entering the user name and password. Enter the “Network” section and assign a DHCP Ip-address.

Asic is connected to the pool through “General settings”. Select server #1, which works by default. If the connection is disconnected, Asic will switch to the next server from the list automatically. Other settings are also made. After that, specify “Save and Apply” and restart Asic.

To check if the miner is in working condition, enter “Miner Status”. If necessary, you can re-flash the device. However, it is important to ensure a stable power supply, otherwise the connection with the server may be interrupted. After that, Asic will have to be handed over for repair.
